Art Works

The focus of the Art Works is not on all art or any specific aspect of art (broadly defined). The focus will most likely be an artistry/creativity/visual understanding that loosely connect across with other broad themes on this site, i.e. learning, cities, flourishing, speculation, research, writings, place........and so on.

The Gallery and The Articles are the places for the items that are more towards the visual/'artistic' part of the spectrum (leaving text-based items for The Writings page) - recognising of course that such things overlap and interconnect. There may, indeed, be deliberate attempts at such cross-referencing and cross-linking.

is a space for a range of short essays and thinkpieces with a broad connection to art and creativity.

contains a varied range of images without titles or further explanations. The images range across dimensions such as ambiguity/clarity; complexity/simplicity; urban/rural; constructed/natural.......and so on. They are free for anyone to enjoy and use and are made available for non-commercial, non-profit use (with an acknowledgement of this website being the source). Ultimately we assert our right to be recognised as the originators of all materials on this website. Over time the images may change fairly randomly and a number of images for sale may be added.
